We're an Award Winning Business
We are proud to announce that Journeys Made won Business of the Year at the Kent Foundation Awards. This fantastic event took place at Canterbury Christchurch University in January 2023.
The Kent Foundation is a charity that helps young entrepreneurs, providing them with support, advice and mentorship to help them turn their business ideas into reality. Winning this award is a massive achievement for us, and we are thrilled to have been recognised for all the hard work and dedication that goes into running our small business. Getting this kind of recognition and seeing our business grow with more and more people collecting their travels on our keychains is amazing - it makes all the late nights, tired eyes and tears worthwhile. This is the first award we've won so I guess that now makes us an award winning business!
As we enter our 3rd year of business, we have to say the growth we've seen in the past year has been phenomenal and it's all thanks to our supportive customers. It's come as quite a surprise too. We had our first baby in February 2022 so most of the year was spend with me on maternity leave and Dan on shared leave from his main job.
But thank you so much - thank you for sharing with us your adventures, memories and journeys. Thank you for taking the time to browse and buy our products, we make them all from our home in Kent. Thank you for spreading the word about our business to your friends and family, and many of you buying them travel gifts from us.
So once again, we are incredibly grateful to the Kent Foundation for this award and we will continue to strive to be the best we can be, to support our customers in their travel adventures and to make a positive impact in the travel industry.
